Akihabara, the dark side of peace & harmony
On the surface, the Japanese seem exceptionally well adjusted, smart and content. The concept of Wa, states the importance of working and living together in peace and harmony, avoiding confrontation is essential.
And it looks good…on the surface!
Proverb of the day “Deru kui wa utareru” Its better to conform than to stand out. (Or maybe not?)
